Hey everybody, the OU tiering council have decided to test ORCA.
Orca has been a common threat in the Overused metagame dating from the start of this generation, even receiving a suspect testing in the middle of last gen. While it might not be broken last gen, many people believe that the expanding movepool has deemed it too powerful for the OU meta. Orca has a incredible offensive presence in the current metagame, with a high attack and many coverage options.
Mostly threatening and walling to Shark and other mammal types, counter measures for Orca used to be the ever popular Human w.Gun or Malaria. But with human relegated to Ubers last month, malaria dropped back to OU, and with that Orca was more free to play coupled with Poison Dart Frog or Honey Badger to counter venom and Malaria.
