>>35122973Next up is Cynthia.
With only Four Pokemon remaining, I heal up my team. I lead with Joy.
Joy vs Spiritomb, Joy crit Earthquakes it.
Cynthia sends in level 62 Garchomp.
I send in Gaston to tank a Dragon Rush, but before I can attack, he uses Flamethrower.
I use Earthquake, hitting him hard, but Flamethrower hits again, knocking out Gaston, my starter.
f Gaston lv. 5-59
I send in Joy, who miraculously outspeeds and one-shots the Garchomp with a Dragon Rush of her own.
Her biggest threat down, still 4 Pokemon to ko.
She sends out Milotic, so I send out Marie.
I Thunderbolt her, but she outspeeds and Surfs me. I bring her down to half.
Surf hits again, knocking out Marie the Rotom.
RIP Marie lv. 20-58
I send out Joy, who manages to take down the Milotic with a Dragon Rush.
Next is Togekiss.
Dragon Rush does a bit under half, she hits with Air Slash.
I Crunch so she won’t heal her Togekiss.
Air Slash.
Dragon Rush gets the KO.
She sends in Lucario.
Earthquake one-shots the Lucario.
She sends in Roserade, I switch to Antonio.
I use Fly.
It hits.
“Champion Cynthia has been defeated!”
Four losses to the Elite Four and Cynthia, Three losses to other trainers, and four losses to unlucky type.
Eleven deaths is by no means the deadliest Nuzlocke I’ve done, but this was a very fun challenge, for the few times I wasn’t grinding.
In regards to the ruleset I used, I don’t think the Gym Revive rule was needed. In future playthroughs, I believe that I will omit that rule.
See ya next time, whenever that may be.
