I'm working towards being an ichthyologist, but because pokemon are divided by types, I would be studying water types making me more of a hydrozoologist
I'd like to focus are cartilaginous fish like sharks or if only there was enough interest hadal ecology a.k.a. deep sea trenches, so I would likely be working working in Hoenn around Sootopolis and interacting with sharpedo, clamperl line, chinchou line, relicanth, and other dive when applicable exclusive pokemon
