What ideas do you guys got for Fairy trainers?
I notice there seems to be a running theme of them being idealistic people that are disconnected from reality and who "live in their own fantasy world". So far we got
>Val, a fashionista who wants to be a Pokémon
>Mina, very fey/wandering/day-dreamy artist who loves creating strange paintings
>Opal, who is apparently a theater master? def got a sense of style that's out of touch with reality
Then there's Bede, who's just kind of whatever, and Lillie. She's not living in her own little idealistic world but she fits Fairy type because she was raised in a strange way by her mother. Lillie's trope is more about innocence — she's named after a lily because white lilies are a symbol of purity and unstained-ness. Also she's clearly designed after Alolan Vulpix/Ninetales, and snow in fiction is used to represent purity and softness as well. To be "pure as the driven snow".
I guess we don't have a soft, compassionate male Fairy specialist but I'm convinced Ilima was supposed to be one. My only ideas are
>buff guy fairy trainer
>a nature conservationalist/environmentalist, with a flower theme
>a nurse (doubly appropriate because Pokémon has had pink-haired nurses from the very beginning)
>an author of absurdist or high-fantasy novels
