>>28685721Another thing that annoyed me about the 3D direction they took was the insistence on using black outlines which make some of their models look very messy and lower quality than they should be given the high polycount that many of the models have. Some pokemon would need design tweaks to ditch the black outlines but it would have been worth it.
Also some pokemon just got... extremely unflattering 3d models. I think that gen 5 got hit the hardest in general.
