My reason, primarily, is that I prefer a ton of NFE Pokemon (or Pokemon who got ruined by crossgen evos) to their fully evolved, higher stat evolutions. Sometimes it's not even that I like the 'mon more, it's that they're so drastically different in design (Psyduck vs. Golduck for instance) that idk, I might want to roll with a Psyduck sometimes.
