>>55439338I'll give you the mons, some characters, and the story itself were decent to good. Aside from performance though there's and entire fucking region that's just bland. There's nothing to do in Paldea. For an open world it feels less exciting to explore than Kanto did in gen 1. There's no BotW or Elden Ring levels of wanderlust, there's no real places of interest aside from the crater that is instanced, there isn't any actual towns you can explore because all the doors are shut with no interesting npcs anywhere. Paldea is like and open air liminal space. There's fucking nothing.
