>>36546727Wallace led with Raticate which wasn't a threat so I just Swords Danced to +6 and took it out with Silver Wind AND GOT THE BOOST. Oh man, we're off to a great start. Unfortunately it Super Fanged me before it went down so I had to waste a turn healing and his Manectric Roared me out. I don't know what I expected. I had to waste Flowre's Persim Berry on Manectric because he Full Restored before Petal Dance took it out. Lame.
Next up was Sharpedo and I tried for another Swords Dance sweep. It Swaggered me and I hit myself in confusion, and then it Taunted me when I healed. So much for that. I tried for another Silver Wind boost and it Swaggered again, I broke through confusion and took it down but no boost. Oh well. Next up was Plusle, which I figured would be no trouble. Oh boy was I in for a surprise. As I healed The Clamps' confusion it used Charge and then OHKO'd on the next turn with Thunder. GEE, A SILVER WIND BOOST AND/OR FOCUS BAND TRIGGER WOULD'VE BEEN NICE RIGHT ABOUT NOW.
I figured I'd try the same strategy as last time and went for an Ancient Power with Amber and got another crit. Then he sent out Jumpluff and it somehow survived (you had one job Choice Band) and Cotton Spored me, but I got a high roll on the next turn and took it down. His ace was a Togetic and he same thing happened, it survived the initial attack, did nothing to me in return, and died to a high roll. And there it is. It's too bad my starter didn't make it all the way especially since I wouldn't have won at all without him, but reigning champ Flowre and my favorite mon Firebert survived to the end and Amber stole the show. What a wild fucking ride.
I'm glad it's over.
