Not sure how relevant this is, but...
In Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, you can find a map under the 'ROUTE 104' address with dimensions of 1x1. If you extend these dimensions, you can find the map used in the Pokémon Festa 2002 demo (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXd_FG0MLSc), with all of the scripts still intact.
Directly below this map is the interior of the Pretty Petal Flower Shop used in this demo. This map has not been reduced into a 1x1 block, however.
Both of these maps still exist in Emerald version, though all of the events have been removed.
