XY had many problems but I think its dungeon design was mostly fine and it had one of the best Victory Roads. It was with SM where GF really started getting rid of dungeons.
I'm counting the postgame sections for Sinnoh's VR, it would be lower otherwise.
ORAS VR doesn't have a particularly noteworthy layout, but having most of its trainers use non-Hoenn pokemon due to them being foreign trainers challenging the league was kino.
I'm still mad at GF for getting rid of Victory Roads after Alola.
