I've beaten all Kanto gyms without a single loss! First of all, I'm gonna have to apologize to Mildew for what I said last time. Now that he knows X-Sissor he's actually become quite an asset to the team since he is able to follow up on spore on his own as well as support the others. He was very valuable against Misty, Sabrina and Blue. Anyway, the only scary moments were the odd crit and that one time Big Red almost killed herself with Flare Blitz against Erika's Victreebel (on second thought, flame wheel probably would've been enough in the sun).
I'm also happy I could evolve DDoS into Porygon-Z, one of my favourite mons of all time, now that I have rock climb. All that remains is Red. I'm quite confident in this team, so all that's left is to level up and climb Mt. Silver.
What's a good level to fight Red at in SS? I feel like grinding all the way to level 80 takes away the challenge (and is really boring), but I don't want to be completely outmatched either.
>>54342957Damn, RIP to Madam. Always sad when a Quagsire is lost. At least you've got another water/ground to succeed her though. Respect for still using Beautifly, btw.
>>54342548Nice job. Kinda weird that the final boss battles of the island are actually more easy than the trials when you think about it. Love the Mr. (ms.?) Mime.
>>54341677>>54341816Losing out on route 41 sucks, but you can get the same/better encounters in the water on route 47. Route 48 also has some good ones. Koffing can be a very good physical wall if that's what you feel you need (so could Forretress but I suppose you can't evolve Pineco). Don't give up though, Graveller can carry you far, I speak from experience.
>>54341746Hey congrats man, sounds like it was a tough fight! Happy to see another Golem enjoyer succeed. RIP Danish but I suppose that was his purpose he fulfilled his purpose.
