>>45278900Way back when XY came out I made a location for some fakemon based on British folklore. They got a bad reception on /vp/ over their names, but I kept the idea in mind and when it came to deciding where a couple Galar OCs came from - without having played SwSh to know what anywhere was like - it was a convenient answer to say somewhere I did know. I have changed the name though, from Barrowmore to Barrowmund, so it wouldn't be a real place and sounded as slightly off as Galar's do. Still undecided if the fakemon should stay, but if it's just my own stories in my head then why not? I might just be being stubborn but I liked the names I gave them back then and wouldn't consider changing those.
I usually have problems deciding on details, and leave stuff perpetually open even when it's important to the characters/story, so having something stick makes a nice change.
