>>56525841I think it was more like a coping mechanism, I, like many others, watched this movie expecting to see a Shrek under the sea, trashing Disney was a national sport, its mermaid porn was hot, the hype was through the roof,..........everything went to shit, the movie was boring and generic, most of the characters were horrible.
The only redeeming feature was the chemistry between the protagonist and the antagonist, which had a very strange vibe, add a frustrated fandom, a storyboard better than the final product and you have the winning formula for a crackship.
