>>43064742It's a balancing act. If it isn't obnoxious, it's easy to steal (pic related, less than a minute in Photoshop). If it is obnoxious, well, it's obnoxious. But, yes, that shit does just deter people from spreading your artwork. That's the express intent. If people aren't viewing it on the platform that the artist wants, then it's of no use to the artist.
