>>48719373Alright, fuck it. Lickitung is king. The stats don't say it, and maybe it's just because of the moves I taught it, but this thing fucking wrecks. Kabutops too, but that was to be expected. Compared to everything before now, the late game has been completely trivial. Though I know the E4 won't be so easy.
>BlaineKabutops used Surf, over over again. Not much else to say. Things actually got close at the end due to Rapidash's Fire Blast doing a bit more than expected, but I mean was it ever really in doubt?
>GiovanniKabutops, once again, tore through the entire team with Surf. Well, almost. Poison forced him out during the Nidoking fight, but MARC took over and finished the job.
>Penultimate RivalThis whole thing could have been cleared by Lickitung. Pidgeot went down to Thunderbolt, Rhyhorn to Surf, Gyarados to Thunderbolt (It even set up rain for me! How nice), Exeggcute to Ice Beam, and Alakazam to stomp after missing disable a whopping 3 times in a row. For Charizard I switched to Kabutops to test the much awaited matchup, and yeah, Kabutops just swamped it. Flamethrower did negligible damage.
>>48713883Good luck anon! Watch out for gen 1 shenanigans. My buddy is doing a run in Red himself and keeps getting reminded of how different things are.
>>48723590Plat's a pain, but we're rooting for you. Good luck!
>>48724238Oh shit, what a fucking bloodbath. F. The Mudkip line is an emerald staple, hope the next bit is smooth even without him.
Onix was the mid-game MVP, but now that I'm at the end the bad stats are really being felt. Already though Kabutops and Lickitung are overshadowing the rest of the team, but maybe EQ and Iron Tail will help keep Estelle relevant.
>>48725684Nice to see you back so soon. Plat is difficult enough already so curious to see where this goes. Luckily you have two steel types backing you up, but more importantly you're leading with Noctowl, which is always nice.
