They're not weird chimeras that look like somebody went onto MS Paint, draw two crude dinosaurs using the default colour palette, and then copy+pasted one half onto another. They look like bizzare and vague monsters, like a weird perversion of modern lizards. It really writes itself for a Rock/Ground or Rock/Normal fossil mon - but apparently that'd be far too subtle for you dipshits. Hell, half of you apparently can't even work out that the fossilmons we actually got are based on paleontology fuckups without a bloody Bulbapedia trivia page.
Besides, if GF really wanted to mock paleontological fuckups, there are far more interesting fuckups to turn into a fossilmon than just "oh you put the wrong bones together haha" - take pic related as an example.
