I've been researching a lot on cartels and mafia to try and make a story that feels realistic. The setting is going to be in Mexico. Protagonist is a failed league challenger who wants fame and glory so he falls into doing wetwork for the cartel. Taking the characters seriously and giving them more flaws made the edge go down. I'm trying to think of a second character that would tie in with the main one well, I know I wont be able to come up with something as interesting and dynamic as walt and jesse but I still wanna try.
I'm open for any ideas! I have a good idea for the main arc for the mc but besides that nothing is set in stone.
