Johto drags a bit for the most part but the league matches were pretty good.

Hoenn/Battle Frontier was good as well. Battle Frontier in particular had some great battles.

Sinnoh is really good but theres a shit ton of filler, still a lot of good episodes (Hunter J arc among them.) Some of the gym matches and definitely the Pokemon League have GOAT battles though.

Unova is...Unova.

XY has been pretty great so far imo.
