The real delusional ones are the ones who fully believe in theories, their own or otherwise. as well as people who think theory makers fully believe in everything they say. Theory making is just more dumb fun on the internet, not meant to be taken seriously. Just like every other type of 'fandom' the ones who take it too seriously are the ones who ruin it.
