I just started a vanilla firered, things got off to a pretty rough start, First I lost my chance at a rattata on route 2 when I 0HKO'd it with an accidental critical, then I lost Air Taxi to an unfortunate critical while I was training (Partly my fault, I let it slip down to 8 HP, then it missed its attack and subsequently died)
Now things are turning up, we have my two Kanto bros now, or we will (Charizard and Nidoking) so as long as we don't lose anyone else we should be pretty good to go.
