>>42383540Yeah I liked that they were more than just stationary bosses and some even had relationships with one another. Despite trails being a last minute thing it was kind of refreshing and I enjoyed the totem fights and how they used actual strategies with the summons.
The music in SWSH boggles my mind. In theory it should have been great since it's on home console and has Go Ichinose as one of the main composers, but it's all shite and lacks the identity and energy of what came before. Some tracks sounded like straight up midis.
>>42383552I agree. XY has great multiplayer aspects and more convenient grinding but the campaign is one of the most dull for sure and I disliked the art direction.
>>42383579Alola is still linear and got rid of some of the good things XY had but I loved the characters, story, and music. Alola felt fleshed out in a world building sense. Kukui and Team Skull are great.
>>42383589Yeah exactly, the game had it's own flavor and stuck with the theme and culture. I liked the rainbow rocket remixes in USUM but not the other ones.
