Here's what I was able to come up with for ideas for the protag's dad. Not sure if this is the right direction for his design (since I've nothing to base it off of, except the protags themselves) but hopefully it's at least a decent starting point. Parts of the clothing (and color choice) were inspired by the clothing worn by the protagonists.
