I buy new pokemon games to use new pokemon, not circlejerk about one if not the most boring generations of all.
and fuck pokemania, I liked pokemon for the games, and kept playing every gen afterwards, who gives a shit if my normalfag relatives know what psyduck is, I was much more excited when sneasel got an evolution and could finally use physical ice/dark moves in gen 4 or when gen 5 finally made the bug type not a complete joke.
