>>50036299>>50037534I could excuse gens 3 and 4 for Kanto pandering only on the condition that it is to flesh out the otherwise lacking pokedex, but even then, just about all pokemon were available, so it's not as if it's pandering exclusively to Kanto when fucking everything is there.
That being said, gen 6 was lacking a considerable amount of pokemon from every gen BUT gen 1, on top of also being the only gen to have their starters accessible and in the game, alongside granting them Megas on top of it all. Subsequent games only continued the trend with specialized forms and attention.
