>>53483193>he realises he may be wrongRather, he realizes this "no more than speculation" is just a wild guess/shower thought that is based on absolutely nothing. None of what he proposed has ever been observed, and he knows that - hence his doubt and hesitation. All that he had observed was that egg shells look like they'd been made of dirt and plant fiber.
>the theory has been tested to the point it's commonly-accepted within the scientific community to disperse to the laymenNow you're just making shit up, which you continue for the rest of your drivel.
Neither egg laying or egg "crafting" has ever been observed, family friendly reasons or not. But if the "cradle" SPECULATION is indeed correct, then how come:
>a birth has never been observed>newborns have never been seen (baby pokémon don't count obviously)>nobody has ever seen parents gathering ingredients for those "cradles">or the process of "cradle" construction, which has to take some time>nobody has ever seen parents putting their newborns inside of those "cradles" and closing them inside and somehow putting the pieces togetherNot only that, the newborn closed inside would be there for possibly an extended amount of time. What about nutrients? Since the SPECULATION states the "cradles" are for the raising of undeveloped children, the newborn would need a supply of food to not just remain alive, but also develop. How does it happen then? Do parents place food inside of the "cradles" too? And if so, that has never been observed either, even though it adds to the time needed for crafting.
The same logic applies to air/oxygen supply.
And finally, if eggs are "cradles", then that implies every single breeding pokémon species is capable of crafting them, have the required dexterity and skills regardless of their physiology. Every single one of them.
Do you honestly believe this SPECULATION holds value? I'd sooner believe that Arceus is creating eggs and placing them in picnic baskets.
