Got into it with the early morning cartoons. Oddly enough remember hating it at first, but considering it was scientifically designed to be crack for kids that didn't last long.
First game was red, Filled out the pokedex. Went to the Mew event and everything. Then came Silver. Filled that one out too.
And then...Ruby/Sapphire. I said to myself "Man, you've done this twice now. Fuck it, That'll do." And stopped.
Got back into it with X and trying to build a living pokedex. Haven't decided if it'd be worth continuing after that.
How much longer do you think pokemon will be a thing? Do you think kids will still be trying to catch em all 20 years from now?
