"Oh my god!" This feminine figure thought out loud and ran as fast as she could out of surprise.
You tried to take a first look to your body to see clawed turquoise feet in the place of your hands. Startled at first, you had no other option than accept it as the body that your fate had now lent to you. You had your human consciousness yet and your memories. What you have being doing that last night, and how was that last contact with your original world. Fate now had forced you to leave everything behind, and reside in this creature's body. You knew nothing more.
Absorbed in your thoughts you were, when this feminine figure appeared again. It was an Audino.
She hugged you, saying in a voice broken by tears: "I'm so glad you're back... I feared the worst..."
You were dumbstruck. You didn't know a word Audino was talking about, but you didn't protest. When she finished hugging you, she handed you a berry with glee. "I brought your favourite!". You ate it. It indeed was really tasty, so tasty you could even change the most exquisite plates in your previous world for this berry. So simple... but so heavenly, this taste...
"We need to tell the rescue team you're okay! Let's go!" Audino said as she put a hand on you to guide out from that rustic room, to something like a little multipurpose room.
"Stay here while I call them, we hadn't any missions today, so they should be in the plaza." Audino said, as she began to arrange an improvised reunion.
