All you need:
1. One of those $2 plastic jigs, I bought 3 on ebay for 6 dollars over a year ago and they were totally worth it for the 1000s of dollars I don't spend on games I don't wanna commit to buying.
2. A USB -> Usb C Cable to connect it to your computer/laptop
3. A switch that was released before June 2018.
That's it, it's so fucking easy to mod a switch and it's extremely worth it, even if you want to play online, the amount you'd spend on another switch isn't that bad considering all the money you save.
Just do it, don't be a nerd. If you needa buy a second switch anyways, and don't have an older one in the first place, make your second switch purchase off of Ebay to ensure you get one that's moddable.
