Maybe, depending on its Ability and other tools.
When you consider that it's a Mega, which cannot hold an item and is competing with the astronomical power level of other Megas for your one-per-team Mega slot, it becomes almost impossible to justify. Mega Blaziken has a higher SpA, nuclear Atk, outspeeds it after Speed Boost and has useful Fighting STAB. Both Mega Charizards outclass it. Mediocre options like Mega Houndoom outclass it with an almost identical stat spread but higher SpA and being a Dark-type with Sucker Punch.
You can make a direct comparison between it and Mega Delphox, which trades marginal physical bulk and useless Atk to outspeed it and get +40 SpD and +30 SpA on top of that. If you don't really care about Speed, Mega Chandelure has 175(!!) SpA and probably better bulk too. When you bring back Megas you're talking about a whole new level of power creep and stat inflation.
