>>57103173for me it was always about killing as many pokemon as possible.
i never clicked "run" on an encounter. watching the HP drop to zero and the opponent's fainting animation was intoxicating. even the most harmless level 2 rattata i would indulge in absolutely slaughtering with a vicious fire blast from my level 100 charizard. in fact the bigger the level gap the better.
i would spend hours roaming the same small patch of tall grass with my maxed out pokemon, and rubbing my hands together enticingly as i encountered a level 4 weedle, an absolute sitting duck who has no clue what is coming its way. its 1 foot frame, nibbling a piece of grass one day when out comes a massive fucking dragon that might as well be the size of a skyscraper in comparison to it, looking completely puzzled, the last thing it ever sees is a tsunami sized wall of fire heading its way too quickly to avoid but just slowly enough for unimaginable horror to shoot through its tiny body before being completely incinerated.
rinse and repeat every minute, 6+ hours per day, for 25+ years
