One thing that make me laugh is the people who think that the XY Ash is mature or something.
I see him like one of the most immature versions of the character, is cringe see how a kid try to be and act like an adult without real experience. (in battles is other thing, i know).
Also if one day they give us an explanation of why he don't age, i will fine with that fact, i prefer a series where the main character is a kid over a series with a preparatory student as a protagonist.
