>>39407015The only times I will resort to using old Pokemon during my initial playthrough is if they are changed in a substantial way (ie: the Alolan forms in Gen 7), the graphical improvements to the game are significant enough that I am interested in seeing how my old Pokes look (ie: the 3D model advent of Gen 6), or if the new roster of Pokemon is so shitty, I cannot bring myself to use more than a couple on my team (ie: Generation 3).
