But maybe now she might occasionally leave the lights on inside the tent, so her little friend can at least keep watch on the shadows as they bounce on top of each other. She’ll start inviting these guys to our tent instead, because it's "safer that way". And when they ask “what about your boyfriend?”, she’ll just laugh, louder and more sincerely than I’ve ever heard from her, and pull him in saying something like “he prefers to play outside~”
