I'm not enjoying the controls very much, but I was expecting this because it is a handhold console. The d-pad is used for taunts or something. Joystick is what you use for your attack combinations. X and Y are jump, B and A are like the gamecube controls.
Demo only has five characters unlocked. Megaman, Villager, Pikachu, Mario, and Link.
Only four recolors are available for characters (Guess the others are unlocked?). Only one stage is playable. Only playable modes are free for all and local wireless (not sure if it's download play or not. Husband wasn't able to pick it up on the American 3DS) Everything is locked off. Shield is now R, and Throw seems to be L so it keeps throwing me off.
Lots of new items. Only seen two pokeballs so far. Snorlax was in one. The other pokeball was actually a masterball with Entei in it.
