>>42070282>>42070327I guess I'm gonna be birdposting now. I already touched off here and there regarding my Eldritch psychic sub-species. A more universal one I have is Dire; mostly in predators and some rodent species, Dires are huge, unruly, and vicious. A typical Dire pokemon is virtually untamable and capturing one is a fool's errand.
Arguably one of the more dangerous of them are the Dire Blaziken; an apex predator that seems to skirt the lines of extinction (both in their near unsustainable diet in the modern world and general conflict with humans). Generally Dire pokemon cause a great deal of grief and damage, but Dire Blaziken are considered far more a danger as they're documented man-eaters. Illegal Wild Areas are off-limits entirely due to Dire pokemon territory and activity. Even the most skilled trainers are at extreme risk, hence why such zones are always off-limits.
Dusk's experiences roaming the wild areas in addition to his considerable prowess as a trainer lead to the experiment to see if a Dire Blaziken could, in fact, be domesticated if raised from hatching by a deft enough hand.
