Prof. Joy: a daughter of the Nurse Joy family who became interested in alternative medicine and methods of Pokemon healing. She went on a Pokemon journey and is now a Pokemon Professor, researching ways to make bitter herbs and roots more palatable to Pokemon. Her research lab is in the back of a cozy tea shop, which sells distilled berry, root, and herb teas. She is a cheerful and energetic Professor who chatters at her Pokemon while milling around the shop. She's friendly and welcoming to all, but very picky about new trainers and who she allows into the lab.
