You CONSTANTLY have to backtrack across at least half the region without ANY form of fast travel. The fastest you can get is the bike by paying the 250k goytax, until the LAST FUCKING HOUR OR TWO WHEN THE GAME FINALLY FUCKING DECIDES TO GIVE YOU FLY, AFTER FUCKING SAYING YOU DIDN'T """""NEED IT""""" UNTIL THEN. To any aspiring fangame devs, don't be like this shit, either give fly relatively early, or have an actual fast travel system that's pretty accessible.
Soft level caps are dogshit. ALWAYS use hard caps if implementing level caps because all softcaps end up doing is annoying the shit out of the player, especially when they start disobeying during the battle they exceed the cap.
The level curve was also all over the place. There's multiple instances of both being consistently below the cap and having to use multiple common candies of mons for an extended period of time.
FUCK the time locking storyshit. You aren't making a le immersive game by forcing the player to stop playing after ~8 PM or so because the forest is le scary at night, you're just making things fucking annoying. I got lucky and happened to sync up to most of the retardation, but fucking hell. If it's side content? Sure, whatever, if I want to do it, I'll change the system clock. If I don't want to, I just don't.
