Issue is, he takes that pain out on us by acting like a sniveling brat. His mind is failing too, because his family has a huge dementia problem it has us worried. Today he picked up our cat, who is already super stressed due to a new cat and doesn't like to be held anyway. She got pissed and scratched him. His reaction? He bashed her against a wall twice and threw her. Luckily she didn't get hurt, but I swear if he does that shit again, I will gladly accept an assault charge to upgrade his ass from a cane to a wheelchair. If it's one thing I cannot stand, it's animal abusers, especially towards a cat that helped him get through his father's death and gave him nothing but love for 10 years.
