Rillaboom is the best looking starter of the trio, but its design is still pretty ugly and boring. We could have had Zarude instead.
Cinderace is hard to look at, literally looking like a fursuit mascot. A regional form could *maybe* redeem it though.
Inteleon is also pretty hard to look at. The rail thin body and spy/agent motif just don't look good.
And even though 2/3 are very strong competitively, all of them being mono-typed just makes the trio as a whole much more boring.
If I had to put all the gens in order from my personal favorite to least:
