I want to make a romhack with that would revolve around breeding, so when you breed two mons, the eggs would have a form closer to the common egg group

would that even be possible? I guess illumise and Volbeat and Nidoran(male and female) kinda implies it should be possible but I don't know where to look to begin making it possible
