Hydreigon is not better than Garchomp by any measure of any stick in this World and that you actually believe he is makes you utterly delusional. They fullfill different roles indeed, but overall, in more general terms, Garchomp is a much better Pokemon. Garchomp is spashable, and most of all, has the most magical speed number in the whole game. Hydreigon would kill to even reach base 100.
Come back when Hydreigon still manages to be king of nearly every damn metagame he's allowed to be part of for 10 years.
