You know how gyms in the games had rock,water,grass fields on them/even in the show?Would it be cool if are pokemon got atttack/def bonus for being the same type as the gym?Say I'm at the beach and it give bonus to water pokemon and I throw in tentacrul even if he isn't the strongest water type by default now he's actually competitive as a defender and with the changes to gyms wed get different water pokes on the gym getting bonus.
