I think the whole 1 gen in America 1 gen in Europe is more of a coincidence than a pattern. The next game could really take place in a lot of countries that being said, it will probably be a country or region with a lot of forests and a coast, just as most others have predicted.
No one has mentioned it so far, but I think that China is a real possibility, it has a lot of culture, diverse geography, and the Bejing area even looks like a pokemon region
