With Brionne and Primarina, they're clearly supposed to be female, and they're making absolutely no attempts to hide that fact.
Funnily enough, you can make Brionne look more neutral by just removing the lashes. Same can't be said about Primarina, though. There's no saving THAT trainwreck of a design.
