N has heroic bishonen prince motif going on and is suit for majestic Reshiram. He also obsess with mathematic formula of the world (aka truth) and what would be more ironic than a man who lived in liar his whole life to become a hero of truth?
Hilbert/Black is hot-blooded underdog so he is more suit for musculine anti-hero Zekrom. Also in manga he is all about reaching his dream/ideal, which is what Zekrom represent.
