Alright, embarrassing confession time. I hadn't seen Movie 8 until right now, and for the longest time I had no idea what "aura power" was that all of the fanfics of the mid-and-late-2000s were so fixated on. I assumed it was a thing only in Japan, and had no idea it had any basis in canon.
