e.g. Decidueye already having feather shaped cartoonish wings and then having flat feather textures slapped on top of it looks fucking inconsistent and retarded. The assumption when Decidueye was designed was that its wings already have simplified representations of feathers, which is why its wings have repeated rounded shapes at the ends. Then Game Freak like the retards they are fell for the REALISTIC = GOOD GRAPHICS meme and made it make no sense. Pokken’s art style is also shit for the same reason.
