>>56416467Alakazam scores a critical hit with Psychic, knocking out Ballsack and leaving us with Klaus as our final Pokémon. Alakazam is able to deal a ton of damage with Psychic, but Klaus easily defeats it with X-Scissor. Blue sends out Arcanine, and quickly defeats Klaus with Wild Charge. The former champion wins the first battle, but we come right back for another shot.
In the second battle, things go roughly the same between Lettuce and Sandslash, with Lettuce eventually fainting to poison against Exeggutor. This time, Brunown gets puts to sleep and fails to deal any damage at all, but Charmeleon is still able to easily defeat Exeggutor with its Fire Blast. Gyarados again defeats Charmeleon, but this time Bad Dragon's Rock Slide is strong enough to win. Blue sends out Alakazam, who takes major damage from Crunch but still manages to attack with Psychic before fainting on the following turn. Bad Dragon's Rock Slide causes Arcanine to flinch, making it easy to defeat with a second attack.
Blue sends out his final Pokémon, Umbreon. Bad Dragon takes a chunk of its HP out with Rock Slide, but gets badly poisoned by Toxic. Umbreon stalls with Protect to slowly recover its health with Leftovers, while Bad Dragon suffers from its steadily worsening poison. Bad Dragon gets a critical hit with Rock Slide, but Umbreon strikes back with Dark Pulse, leaving Bad Dragon with just 12 HP remaining. Umbreon's Protect ensures that it can't be hit before Bad Dragon faints.
Ballsack's Dazzling Gleam deals super-effective damage to Umbreon, and it responds with another Toxic. Protect buys Umbreon another turn, but another Dazzling Gleam is enough to secure the win, and we earn the gold Earthbadge from Ex-Champion Blue.
