>>22922212>>22922216To be quite honest with you guys and I'll sound like a huge faggot for this but, when I was watching DP what I loved the most is the fact that it felt like a real journey if the pokemon world really existed. The story, characters, and flow of DP really made the audience feel the pokemon world instead of telling us the pokemon world like in XY, or showing us the pokemon world like in AG, OS, BW. It's hard to explain but when I was watching DP every week I would get absorbed into that world and the feeling was amazing. (Let's be honest, if you were on a journey.. 50% of us would be like Paul trying to be the best,49% of us being Conway and 1% being that nice loving Ash type of guy.
Of course, XY is good but it has the typical "anime" feeling to it with the essence of pokemon world feel gone to it. When you think about it, you can use XY's plot for digimon and it'll still work. That's how much I think XY has changed compared to the older generations of the anime. I'm not saying XY is bad but as of right now it's the second best pokemon series but still lacking in some aspect compared to DP.
