Although this has nothing to do with the anime, since Game!May got it first, it's interesting that RS May is designed to generally color-match Ash whereas E May's green matches her more with Drew/Harley (and orange plays off the purple). Shippers will claim this is a sign either way, but the truth is that they needed Ash and May to visually look pleasant together because they were traveling companions and marketing demands it.
